Yurt and Guesthouse Rental Terms & Conditions
1. CHECKING IN/OUT: Check-In time is at 3:00 P.M. Alaska Standard Time and Check-Out time is 11 A.M. Alaska Standard Time. Early Check-Ins, late Check-Outs are possible upon special request and handled on a case by case basis.
2. NO SMOKING POLICY: Both yurt and guesthouse are NON SMOKING facilities. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on property. Renters must be mindful that we are an eco-friendly entity, so PLEASE respect this policy.
3. PETS: NO Pets are permitted in rental yurt or guesthouse or on property.
4. AGE REQUIREMENTS: We will not rent to anyone under 18 years of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent. Any additional 3rd party person requires additional charge and preapproval by owner. Babies and toddlers are not additional.
5. RESERVATION/FEES: An online reservation is required. No deposits are required, however, in order to avoid additional fees the following provisions must be met:
a) Yurt/Guesthouse must be left in the same condition as when you Check-In. No damage shall be done to yurt/guesthouse or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear. Renter shall be liable for any damages.
b) All debris, rubbish and discards are to be kept in refuse containers INSIDE the yurt/guesthouse during your stay.
c) Upon Check-Out, all keys are to be left in the yurt or guesthouse and it shall be left unlocked. Keys not left in the yurt or guesthouse will result in a $25.00 fee added to your final bill.
d) All charges accrued during your stay are paid prior to departure.
e) No linens are lost or damaged.
6. PAYMENT: Payment in full is required when your reservation is made. The only methods of Payment available at this time are with a check sent in advance, or if time constraints, cash or traveler's check upon arrival through prior arrangement.
7. CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS: A 30 day or more notice is required for reservation cancellation refund.
8. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The number of guests per reservation is limited to two. Extra person/child requires additional charge of $15 per person per night and pre-approval by owner.
9. LIABILITY: Owner assumes no responsibility for accident, illness or injury while on premises.
10. No Daily Maid Service: While linen is provided in the guesthouse and yurt, daily maid service is not included. If additional linen is requested, a small additional fee will be required. Towels are provided for the guesthouse only as YURT does NOT have running water, shower nor bathroom. A new outhouse is provided for yurt renters.
11. Parking: Parking is limited to two vehicles per reservation. Vehicles are to be parked in designated area nearest to guesthouse or yurt.
12. Written exceptions: Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.
